Hakubha Stresses Importance of Local Body Elections in Jamnagar

(By Mukund Badiyani) Jamnagar તા.27: Under the general elections to local bodies-2026, former minister and Jamnagar MLA Dharmendrasinh Merubha Jadeja'Hakubha'exercised his franchise on Sunday by reaching the polling station at St. Ann's School with his family. Speaking to the media after voting, Hakubha said that local body elections are as important as the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. The day-to-day problems of the citizens are solved only by the Gram Panchayat, Taluka Panchayat, Municipality and Municipal Corporation. Local bodies are responsible for basic amenities like water, roads, sewerage, street lights, sanitation. He further said that for a strong democracy, local bodies need to be strong. Therefore, every voter should vote by understanding the value of his vote. The choice of the right and working candidate will pave the way for development.
