CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government is planning to convert special neonatal care units (SNCUs) into maternal-neonatal care units (MNCUs), which will ensure the presence of the mother along with treatment, breastfeeding and involvement of the family in the care of the child, Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Dr Sumita Mishra said on Wednesday.
