Haryana Government Prepares Employment Opportunities for Ex-Agniveers

With the first batch of Agniveers in Haryana completing four years of military service, the state government has stepped up preparations for government employment for them. The government has sought actual details of direct recruitment posts reserved for ex-Agniveers from all departments, boards and corporations in the state. The HR-2 wing of the General Administration Department has issued an order on August 25, asking the officials concerned to furnish information in the prescribed proforma by 3 pm on August 26. The government will find out through this exercise how many posts are available, in which departments and when they can be recruited. Government departments will have to provide not just the number of vacancies, but also the name of the post, reservation percentage, number of possible vacancies, category-wise details and the proposed month of recruitment. Details of vacancies have also been sought as per UR, OSC, DSC, BC-A, BC-B and EWS.
