Gurugram: In protest against the new online transfer policy of the health department, a meeting of various employee organizations of the health department was held on Sunday at the Sarv Karmachari Union office, Rohtak. The meeting was attended by the state presidents of Haryana Nursing Association, Pharmacy Association, Radiographer Association and Lab Technicians Association. The state representative participated on behalf of MPHW organization. The meeting was chaired by the district president of the coordination committee, Sirsa. All the organizations decided that a memorandum will be prepared regarding the online transfer policy. This memorandum will be submitted to the Chief Minister, OSD to the Chief Minister Sudhanshu Gautam, Health Minister, Additional Chief Secretary Health Department and Director General Health Services on Tuesday. After submitting the memorandum, all the health workers will register their protest by wearing black bands and will observe a token strike of 2 to 3 hours on the same day. If the government does not take a positive decision, then all the organizations will hold a joint meeting and announce the strategy and phase-wise program of the movement. The suggestions and objections received from the advertising workers were also discussed.
