Hema Malini Reveals Why She Stopped Doing Movies After a Successful Bollywood Career

Bollywood actress and politician Hema Malini ruled the big screen in the 1970s and 1980s. She was one of the biggest stars of Indian cinema and earned the title of Bollywood's'Dream Girl'due to her beauty and classic films like Sholay, Seeta Aur Geeta, Baghban and Satte Pe Satta. Hema Malini ventured into politics after a successful career in Indian cinema and gradually distanced herself from cinema. Now in a recent interview, she revealed why she no longer does films. Hema recalled the golden era of cinema when her career was at its peak. She said, "That era was completely different. I would say that it was the golden era of the film industry and I was lucky to be a part of that journey. There were many great films made at that time, especially women-centric films.
