Himachal Pradesh Election Results Expected Soon: Political Parties Show Increased Interest

The results of the elections to the posts of Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members in Himachal Pradesh will be announced shortly. Elections have been held for 1,769 posts of 251 Zila Parishad members and Panchayat Samiti members in 12 districts of the state. The Zila Parishad elections are not being held on party symbols, but political parties have fielded candidates supported by them. The interest of political parties in village government has increased this time. Nita Devi has won from BDC Ward-11 Basnur in Shahpur. Nita Devi got a total of 1,135 votes, while Pawan Kumari got 772 and Usha Devi got 638 votes. Thus, Nita Devi defeated her nearest rival by a margin of 363 votes. Hemlata won from Patta Ki Sauri BDC ward in Solan district. Ved Prakash has won from Bhalwani Ward No. 6 of Bhoranj in Hamirpur. Rajesh Morasu alias BDC candidate in Hamirpur has won by defeating his nearest rival by a margin of 1312 votes.
