Himachal Pradesh University Introduces Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Curriculum

Under the National Education Policy, there has been a major change in undergraduate education. Now BA, BSc, and BCom degrees will no longer be limited to core subjects. Students will have to complete eight different categories of courses in a single degree program. Himachal Pradesh University has implemented a new curriculum and credit framework. Under this, undergraduate education will now be based on a multidisciplinary model. Students will have to choose a major as well as a minor subject. Multidisciplinary, skill enhancement, ability enhancement, and value addition courses will also be part of the curriculum.
