Not only the village society and pasture land are under illegal occupation in the area. In fact, the forest department and mother Ganga are also illegally occupying about 800 bighas of land and growing crops. Farmers and villagers have been making allegations of illegal occupation with the connivance of departmental employees. Due to political patronage, the officials here are dwarfing before the land mafia. Due to which the illegal occupation is not being removed. The farmers who have their fields near the forest department land in Dehri Gurjar, Haidalpur forest block of the area are cultivating more land by adding forest department land to their area. Pasture in the forest of Haidalpur gram panchayat and non-inhabited village Fatehpur Lavegang etc. villages, barren land of forest department and village society and Ganges land are also being illegally grown on the government land of the village society on the banks of Piplauti Kala and Piplauti Khurd. Naresh Kumar, the regional forest officer says that about 5,000 hectares of land has been dug up in the forest department and most of the forest department's land is also under illegal cultivation.
