New Delhi: The Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has given its official approval to the Bharat Bhartiya Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) to transform India's future. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that the government will spend ₹33,660 crores on this ambitious project. Under this scheme, 100 state-of-the-art industrial cities will be developed across the country, which will be based on the'plug-and-play'model. This means that industrialists will not have to wait for electricity, water or roads after taking land; all basic facilities will be prepared by the government already. This is considered to be the biggest version of'Make in India ', which will directly compete with China in the manufacturing sector. Along with the Industrial Revolution, the government has also approved the FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) Amendment Bill 2026 for the internal security and transparency of the country.
