Today India is celebrating its 80th Independence Day. On this occasion, PM Modi made many big announcements from the ramparts of the Red Fort. Meanwhile, big news has also come on petrol-diesel. Actually, the government has reduced the export duty on petrol, diesel and aviation turbine fuel (ATF). According to the government order, India has reduced the export duty on petrol, diesel and aviation turbine fuel (ATF) from 15 August. Under this, the levy on petrol has been reduced to zero and the rates on diesel and ATF have been reduced. The increase made on 3 August has been partially withdrawn. The government has reduced the duty on petrol exports from Rs 3.50 per liter to zero. The total levy on diesel exports has been reduced from Rs 25.5 to Rs 24 per liter, while the ATF export duty has been reduced from Rs 22 to Rs 19.5 per liter.
