On this occasion, the country is celebrating its 80th Independence Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort. He laid special emphasis on the goal of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and a developed India by 2047. The Prime Minister said that India has seen a big dream today and is moving ahead with full determination to fulfill it. He aims that in 2047, when the country completes 100 years of independence, India stands in front of the world as a developed country. PM Modi said that the dream of a developed India can be fulfilled with the hard work and efforts of 140 crore countrymen. He said that when the world's most populous country sets a big goal of development, it shows its confidence and potential. The Prime Minister said that India has to reduce its dependence on other countries for its needs and continuously strengthen its capacity. The Prime Minister also gave figures of the increase in different sectors during the last 12 years in his speech. According to him, these figures can be kept by the countries at affordable prices. PM Modi said that the production capacity of the country is not less than the second time.
