Delhi's VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital achieved such a feat, which made India famous all over the world. Safdarjung Hospital's Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Department performed the first robotic heart surgery in the world, which has never been done in medical history until today. This surgery has been done on a patient whose heart structure was completely different from normal people since birth and was very complicated. First of all, we know what the patient's problem was. Normally, we all have a heart on the left side of the chest, but this patient had two very rare and strange problems since birth. Because of both these congenital diseases, the patient's heart's AV valve was completely damaged. The valve works like a door in the heart. Due to the valve malfunctioning, the patient's heart's working power was continuously decreasing and his life was in danger. The patient's heart was on the right side and the veins were also connected to the heart, so it was very difficult for the robotic team to solve this modern technique.
