India Marks 75 Years Since Somnath Temple Reconstruction Amidst Political Strength and State Weakness

The holy land of Saurashtra is celebrating 75 years of the reconstruction of Somnath Mahadev. On this auspicious occasion, the country's successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi is warmly welcomed. Under Modiji's leadership, today India is gaining pride of place on the world stage. BJP's political chariot is moving ahead invincibly. BJP's struggle period is also like the history of Somnath. As the victory flag of Somnath was hoisted after many invasions and struggles, after decades of austerity of the Sangh Parivar, today the BJP's flag has become invincible. Gujarat is the focal point of current India's politics. The Modi-Shah duo has strengthened BJP's ideology across the country. But on the other side of the coin, Gujarat's current situation is worrisome. Today Gujarat seems to be weakening internally after 66 years of its establishment. There is a strange paradox here. The rulers have become politically stronger and have a huge majority, but the glory of the state is lost to Bapu.
