India: State Government Increases Assistance Amount for Women's Welfare Scheme

The state government had increased the monthly assistance amount of the Ladli Bahana Yojana from Rs 1250 to Rs 1500 from November 2025. Since then, all eligible women are being given Rs 1500 every month. Under this scheme, which started in June 2023, 37 installments have been paid so far, while the 38th installment will be released on Sunday. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will also give a big gift of development works to the region during the program held in Lahar. He will dedicate 40 development works prepared at a cost of 238.96 crores. He will also lay the foundation stone and lay the foundation stone of 16 new projects costing 83.33 crores.
