India is gearing up to step up pressure on Pakistan at the upcoming meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) over allegations of sponsoring terrorism. For this, it is compiling videos and other evidence of terrorists associated with banned terrorist organizations in Pakistan openly attending public events. These will be presented to the FATF to demand Pakistan's re-inclusion on the grey list. According to sources, Pakistan is already under the FATF's watch in terrorist financing cases. Pakistan faces international pressure on the one hand, and the risk of angering terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba on the other. The next full meeting and working group meetings of the FATF will be held in Paris from October 26 to 30. Officials say that Pakistan has previously been defending Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) as a charity organization, but now the same strategy is being adopted through the Markazi Muslim League (PML). Lashkar-e-Taiba, the son of former Pakistani cricketer Hafiz Saeed, and the last rites of its former president Hafiz Saeed.
