India to Replace Aadhaar-Based Payments with Biometric-Voter ID System: Minister

Union Minister and senior JDU leader Lalan Singh has said that the existing system of paying beneficiaries on the basis of their Aadhaar number will soon be replaced by a system in which payments will be made using biometrics and Voter ID (EPIC) number. Panchayati Raj, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh) said during the National Workshop on'People's Plan Campaign 2026-27'organized by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
