India Urges Citizens to Leave Iran Amid Ongoing US-Iran Tensions

New Delhi: Within hours of the US-Iran ceasefire, the Government of India has issued a very important advisory to its citizens living in Iran. Earlier, in the wake of President Trump's threat of a major attack on Iran, India had strongly advised its citizens not to leave their homes for the next 48 hours as a precaution. However, given the seriousness and uncertainty of the current situation, the Ministry of External Affairs has now advised all Indians to leave Iran immediately.
