Indian Congress Women Protest Against BJP MP's Remarks, Meet Azam Khan's Family

Women leaders belonging to the Congress took out a procession from the state headquarters. They carried an effigy of BJP MP Kangana Ranaut and marched towards the assembly. When stopped by the police, they protested by burning an effigy in front of the state headquarters. They said that Kangana Ranaut should apologize to the daughters of the country for her remarks. During this, Priyanka Gupta, Dr. Lalti Devi, Anamika Yadav, Sushila Sharma, Siddhishree, Sheela Mishra, Dr. Richa Kaushik, Shipra Awasthi, Zainab Haider, Tanveer Fatima, Suman Prajapati were present. After returning from meeting the family of senior SP leader Azam Khan in Adampur, Congress state president Ajay Rai made serious allegations against the BJP. He said that due to personal enmity towards Azam Khan, the Congress is with Azam Khan and his family. The party is determined to save Johar University.
