The monsoon session of parliament is scheduled to begin on Monday (July 20, 2026). In the letter, the union minister said, "Sudip Bandyopadhyay ji, recently you have joined the Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI) along with 19 other MPs and you have also requested Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla ji to give recognition to your party, which is under his consideration."
