The Indian Navy is accepting applications for its 10+2 Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Cadet Entry Scheme via online mode through the official website, joinindiannavy.gov.in. However, the registration window for the Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry ends today that is on June 18, 2026. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply for the Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry (January 2027 Course) through the official website, joinindiannavy.gov.in. A total of 60 vacancies in its technical branches are available under the scheme. The 10+2 Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Cadet Entry Scheme course beginning in January 2027. The selected candidates will undergo a four-year BTech programme at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala under the scheme. After successfully completing the course, they will be granted a Permanent Commission in the Indian Navy. Candidates who complete the programme will also receive a BTech degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Out of the total seats, up to eight vacancies have been reserved for women candidates. Candidates born between July 2, 2007, and January 1, 2010 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.Applicants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with at least 70 per cent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). They must also have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks in English either in Class 10 or Class 12.In addition, candidates must have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or BTech courses. The Indian Navy will shortlist candidates for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview on the basis of the JEE Main 2026 All India Common Rank List (CRL) prepared by the National Testing Agency (NTA).The cut-off for SSB shortlisting will be decided by the Naval Headquarters. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email and SMS and will be called for interviews at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata, or Visakhapatnam from September 2026 onwards.The final merit list will be prepared based on candidates’ performance in the SSB interview and medical fitness. Selection will also be subject to police verification, character verification, and availability of vacancies.
