Indian Opposition Fails to Unite Against Ruling BJP

Looking at the current trends of Indian politics, it seems that a big clump of planets is speaking in the horoscope of the opposition. A strong opposition is inevitable in a democracy, but the picture is quite the opposite now. Despite facing continuous defeats, the opposition parties are fighting within instead of fighting against the BJP as one. After the results of the five state elections, it was expected that the opposition would form a strong organization, but it is still breaking down. The opposition unity has remained only on paper and in reality, each party is busy pulling each other's legs.
