The strategy of the opposition parties has intensified amid the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar against the NEET paper leak. In this connection, a key meeting of the leaders of the INDIA alliance was held at the residence of the Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi. After this, Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders are now going to Gandhi Smriti Bhavan. In the earlier meeting, the issue of paper leak and lathicharge and the strategy to surround the government inside and outside Parliament was discussed. The meeting has been attended by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MPs Sanjay Yadav and Sudhakar Singh, Misa Bharti, Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Also, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) MP Supriya Sule and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP Arvind Sawant were also present in the meeting. Meanwhile, security arrangements have been tightened outside Rahul Gandhi's residence. Additional police force has been deployed and Rahul Gandhi's house is being monitored.
