Indian Political Parties Strengthen Grassroots Organizations for Voter Contact

Having workers and responsible office bearers at every booth gives direct access to the voters. Supporters, new voters and influential local groups can be contacted continuously. Organization plays an important role in taking the party's state-level issues to the village, ward and booth level. Moreover, a strong cadre is very important for the deployment of workers, contact with voters and booth management on the day of polling. These days, the organization general secretary and in-charge of all political parties are fully active in view of this. BJP's national organization general secretary BL Santosh and state organization general secretary Srinivaslu Manthri have also met the workers of Punjab in the past. SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and senior vice-president Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema are also assigning responsibilities to the workers on vacant posts. Congress state president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and AAP state president Aman Arora and in-charge Manish Sisodia are also engaged in strengthening their cadre up to the booth level.
