Indian Politicians React to Modi's Address on Women's Reservation

In Mumbai, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC said that Nari Shakti Vandana was a big victory for everyone. She targeted Akhilesh Yadav saying that he talks about reservation for Muslim women. But he gave ticket to only one Muslim woman in his party. Shaina said that it shows a big difference between the statement and reality. She called it politically motivated. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari in Delhi said that on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address, the Prime Minister has clearly said that the number is less now, but soon this shortage will be fulfilled. He expressed confidence that in the coming time 33 percent women will get a place in the Assembly and Parliament. Tiwari said that the government's resolve is strong and this goal will be achieved. Congress leader Pramod Tiwari questioned PM Narendra Modi's address. He said that it was not clear whether the address was from Delhi or from a meeting. It was against the dignity of the post of the Prime Minister. Tiwari alleged that the party showed more interest than the country's interest. He said that if the government passes a serious provision for women in Lucknow in 2023, then only 33 percent of the country's population will be covered by the Prime Minister.
