President Droupadi Murmu will pay an official state visit to Moldova, North Macedonia and Romania from 19 to 25 July. During this visit, the emphasis will be on giving new strength to trade, technology, tourism, investment and mutual cooperation between India and these three countries. Before this visit, a member of the Indian delegation informed that she has got an opportunity to represent the country in an official visit to Moldova, North Macedonia and Romania as a member of the delegation along with President Droupadi Murmu. She described it as a matter of pride for her. Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma will also join as a member of the Indian delegation in this state visit to the three countries. Dr. Sharma said that he has got an opportunity to represent the country in this official visit along with President Droupadi Murmu. He informed that he will be on an official visit from 19 July to 25 July. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this will be the first bilateral visit of an Indian President to Moldova and North Macedonia while an Indian President, after more than 30 years, is visiting Central Europe and Western Europe (1994).
