New Delhi, તા.13: Following PM Modi's appeal, several states have taken major decisions to save petrol and diesel. Yogi government in UP and Mohan Yadav government in Madhya Pradesh have issued orders for 50% cut in the fleet of CMs and ministers. Governor of Gujarat has also decided not to travel by air and travel by road and rail. UP CM will insist on 50% cut in fleet, virtual meetings. Uttar Pradesh CM holds high-level meetings with Principal Secretary, DGP and officers of all departments. It has directed to strictly implement PM Modi's appeal in the state. The biggest decision has been issued to immediately cut down the fleet of CMs and Ministers by 50%. Work from home has been encouraged and government meetings, seminars and conferences have been held virtually. CM has appealed for more use of PNG, metro and public transport and priority has been given to public transport.
