Indian Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to Travel by Bus to Promote Fuel Efficiency

After Prime Minister Modi's call, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has taken a big decision. In order to save fuel consumption, Gadkari will reduce his fleet and travel by himself. He will travel to Satara and Solapur in Pune on 14 May and 15 May. He will do this tour by bus. His security staff and journalist will travel with him in the bus. The Ministry of Road Transport has issued a notice giving this information. According to the notice issued by the Ministry, the Union Minister will test the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi road project on 14 and 15 May 2026. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for the energy security of the country and saving fuel. For this, the Union Minister has decided to travel by bus with officials, journalists and security personnel. This will also improve traffic management and convenience of the people.
