India's Election Commission Deploys Technology to Ensure Peaceful Polling in West Bengal

The cameras in each booth will be monitored continuously, including continuous monitoring of the footage. Subrata Gupta, the Special Role Observer for West Bengal, said that this time there will be 2 cameras in each booth. One outside the booth and one inside the booth. The cameras inside the booth will show the polling agent, the polling staff, the picture outside the voting compartment. Subrata Gupta has ensured that the cameras inside the booth will be installed in such a way that no one can see who the EVM or the voter is voting for. The Election Commission of India (ECI) is relying on peaceful technology to conduct the voting. The control room will have a total of 72 TV screens.
