Lokmat News Network Palandur: The Election Department's order has informed that some proof is required to vote for married daughters after 2002. In this, the full name of the parents of the daughter-in-law, her full name before marriage, the name of the village, taluka, district, assembly constituency, constituency number, electoral roll part number and serial number of the 2002 list have been decided. Mapping of the 2024 electoral roll is in progress. Awakened daughters have started the culmination of efforts to retain their right to vote. You have the right to vote, but if you do not have the proof of 2002, this right is likely to be taken away forever. As per the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) program, now the names of the 2024 electoral roll are being mapped with the 2002 list. Those whose names do not appear in the 2002 list or whose father cannot provide the required proof, their names are being reduced from the electoral roll. This new feature is causing a lot of inconvenience to the married daughters.
