There has been a significant increase in the price of LPG cylinders across the country. As soon as the elections are over in many states, including West Bengal and Assam, the price of commercial LPG cylinders (19 kg) and 5 kg LPG cylinders has increased significantly. Government oil companies have increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders (ID5 000) and 5 kg ID7 cylinders, which will come into effect in Mumbai and other cities from 2026.
