Union Minister Reddy said that India is making a strong mark globally in the field of modern technology and innovation. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, research and technological development is being continuously encouraged in the country. He underlined that science and technology will play a central role in building a developed India and young talent will be the key force for this change. The Minister pointed out that Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a technology of the future, but is becoming the main instrument of transformation in the fields of education, health, agriculture, industry and good governance. It is essential to connect the youth with modern technology and provide better research facilities. The seven centres set up at NIT Raipur will provide a common platform to students, scientists, researchers and industry. The seven centres inaugurated include MeitY India AI Chhattisgarh Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence, Centre of Excellence on Critical Minerals, and Centre of Excellence in Space and Interplanetary Exploration, besides the Centre of Excellence for Aerospace and Rural Innovation, Centre of Excellence in Nano Science and Technology, Centre of Excellence in Nano Science and Technology, Centre of Excellence in Nano Science and Technology, Centre of Excellence in Nano Science and Technology, Centre of Excellence in Nano Science.
