Iran Accused of Attacking Qatari Military Buildings in Bahrain Amid Regional Tensions

Amid the war against Iran by the United States and Israel, Qatar stated that Iran attacked buildings housing Qatari Emiri naval personnel in Bahrain. In a statement issued on Friday, the Qatari Foreign Ministry stated that the targeted buildings in Bahrain fall under the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) joint military command. Doha described the incident as a clear aggression and a violation of Bahrain's sovereignty. Qatar stated that such actions could pose a threat to regional security. The Foreign Ministry also stated that Qatari military personnel present in the buildings at the time of the attacks are safe and no injuries have been reported.
