Iran in Crisis: War Rages On After Ayatollah Khamenei's Death and Son's Mysterious Disappearance

Iran is in the midst of a bloody war with Israel and the United States. There is no trace of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. The radical military organization, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, has seized power, virtually paralyzing the country's democratic government. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in a US-Israeli strike at the start of the war. His son Mojtaba has since been declared Supreme Leader. He has not been seen in public. Recently, US President Donald Trump claimed that Mojtaba is in critical condition. His Secretary of War Pete Hegseth also claimed that Mojtaba was seriously injured in the attack, and may have been maimed. Iran International reports that Mojtaba is possibly in a coma and is being held under tight security. Iranian insiders report that the elected president of the extremist IRGC, Masoud Peshkassa, has been quoted by The International.
