Iran-Oman Talks on New Sea Route Delayed Amid Security Concerns

Talks between Iran and Oman were going on to build a new sea route for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, but now it is also stuck. Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei said that the finalization of this sea transit route is being delayed due to security obstacles. Iran says that the current situation has arisen from the military actions of the United States and Israel. Talks between Iran and Oman have not stopped. Both countries are in constant dialogue. With a joint statement, they are trying to create a safe mechanism that will protect the interests of both countries. But the biggest question is what is threatening Iran now and why tensions have increased so much about Hormuz. According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the old sea routes passing through Hormuz are not working at the moment.
