Iranians Mourn Former Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Amid Anti-US and Anti-Israel Sentiment

On the second day of the funeral of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the streets of Tehran were flooded with people. Millions of people dressed in black came to the capital Tehran to bid farewell to their leader. From the streets of the city to Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla, huge crowds were seen. There were tears in the eyes of the people, but anger against the United States and Israel was also visible. According to local media, about 8 million people have attended the funeral so far. Iranians living in different cities of Iran and abroad have also arrived in Tehran. Everyone wants to pay their last respects to their leader and show solidarity with the country. Chants of'Death to America'and'Death to Israel'continued during the funeral. People say that they do not consider Khamenei just a religious leader, but the identity of the country's sovereignty and resistance. Although Khamenei's three sons, Massoud, and Mostafa, the Supreme Commander of the Islamic Guards Corps (MOGC) were also present on Sunday.
