Iran's Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei Rushed to Hospital in Critical Condition

According to Israeli media, Iranian Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei is in a very critical condition and has been rushed to the hospital. Channel 14 (C14), citing sources inside Iran and based on an old Jerusalem Post report (which quoted sources close to IranWire and President Massoud Pezeshkian's administration), reported that rumors are rapidly spreading in high levels of the government that Khamenei is in a "very serious condition." A Jerusalem Post source said, "We wouldn't be surprised if we get news of his martyrdom soon." Muztaba Khamenei took over as Supreme Leader shortly after his father was killed in a joint US-Israeli military strike on February 28. Since taking office, he has not been seen in public and has only spoken in written statements suggesting that he was injured and may have been hit in the face.
