With only a few days left for the Diwali festival, the sale of firecrackers for Diwali fireworks is also set to begin. For this, the Jammu district administration has identified ten places where firecrackers can be sold for Diwali fireworks. Apart from these ten places, legal action will be taken if anyone is found selling firecrackers anywhere. As soon as the places of sale are identified by the administration, the sellers have started the work of constructing temporary sheds. The work of building sheds for the sale of firecrackers started on Wednesday at JDA Park opposite Maharaja Hari Singh Park near Prem Nagar in the city. Wholesale sales will start from Friday and retail sales will also start from Saturday. As per the order issued by Deputy Commissioner Jammu Minga Sherpa, children below 18 years of age will not be involved in any kind of sale and legal action will be taken if anyone is found selling firecrackers at any other place.
