The result of the by-election held in Bankipur Assembly seat of Bihar is out. Prashant Kishor of Jan Suraj Party has won by defeating Neeraj Kumar of BJP by 19,246 votes. After the voting held on 30 July, the counting of votes started from 8 am at AN College, Boring Road, Patna on 3 August.
