A major twist has emerged in the politics of Jharkhand and the future of competitive students. The Hemant Soren government issued a notification on 18 August cancelling a total of 22 recruitment processes and examinations, including JSSC-CGL, 11th-13th JPSC, CDPO, and FSO, following allegations of rigging. However, the Jharkhand High Court has taken a strong stance on this decision and has put an interim stay on the government's cancellation notifications. According to media reports and the data of the petitioner's lawyers, out of the 22 cancelled examinations, 4 main recruitment examinations were such in which candidates were selected and posted to the posts. The High Court's decision directly led to the reinstatement of the employees. JSSC Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL): 1,932 selected candidates whose jobs were cancelled. 11th-13th JPSC Combined Civil Services: 342 newly appointed deputy collectors, food collectors, etc. DSP Child Development Officer (Food Project Officer): 2,392 Child Safety Officers (FDPO).
