Jimmy Shergill Defends Controversy Surrounding Film Satluj

Jimmy Shergill gave an interesting response to the controversy surrounding the release of the film Satluj: "Politics is there and always will be there, but when such issues are raised, it's a good thing because it brings out every aspect. When you touch any one aspect of sensitive matters, other hidden aspects also come out. So, that's the politics of it." Advertisement actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh starrer Satluj was released on ZEE5 in India last month, but just two days later, it was not available on the platform in India. The film on human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra's life was censored for more than three years and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had said in 1996 that the film'Maachcha'had been released.
