BENGALURU: Speculation is once again rife over the arrival of 30 Karnataka Congress MLAs in Delhi. All the MLAs have reached the office of the party high command to seek a reshuffle in the Karnataka cabinet. They are hoping to meet Rahul Gandhi to secure a ministerial berth for themselves and pressurise the party leadership to ask CM Siddaramaiah to reshuffle the state cabinet. The demand for a cabinet reshuffle comes after a strategic dinner meeting in March where the MLAs discussed their demands amid growing demands for a cabinet reshuffle after the recent by-elections. Before the visit on Monday, Congress MLA Belur Gopalakrishna said that the group had earlier collectively decided in large numbers that they would press for a cabinet berth. There are many leaders who have been given three, four, even five chances. We are going to request that people who have not been given a chance so far, visit Congress MLA Ashok Pattanur.
