Karnataka Congress MLAs Unite in Delhi to Demand Cabinet Reshuffle

The race to Delhi has begun once again in Karnataka politics. About 30 senior Karnataka Congress MLAs have united and headed to the national capital. Their mission is to meet the party high command and Rahul Gandhi to press for a major reshuffle in the state cabinet. This camp is pushing hard to secure a berth in the Siddaramaiah government. The cabinet reshuffle is not a sudden exercise. It was scripted during a dinner diplomacy Karnataka strategy meeting in March. Voices of dissent have grown louder within the party after the recent by-election results. The MLAs argue that it is time to remove the faces who have been in the chair for two-and-a-half-three years and give a chance to new and senior members. Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said it is not a bad thing for Congress MLAs to go to Delhi. He wrote on social media platform X, "It is not wrong for ministerial aspirants to go to Delhi. There is still work in the cabinet. There is a delay in the budget session." The main reason for this is the delay in the CM's tweets.
