Muslim religious leaders and ulema of Karnataka have demanded the inclusion of 5 leaders from the Muslim community in the state cabinet. They say that the Congress government has come to power with the support of Muslim voters, so the community should get proper representation in the government. This demand was raised in a meeting of Muslim leaders and ulema held at Hazrat Syed Fateh Shah Wali Dargah, Bellinagar, Hubli on Wednesday evening. A special Dua was also organized on this occasion. The meeting demanded the inclusion of senior Congress leaders BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, NA Harris, Tanveer Sait, and Saleem Ahmed in the cabinet. The leaders said that Assembly Speaker UT Khader has already been given an important constitutional post, so now 4 other senior leaders of the community should also be made ministers. Addressing the gathering, a religious leader said, "If 5 Muslim leaders are not given a place in the cabinet, then in the coming days, its consequences will be seen seriously.
