Kavinder Gupta Arrives in Shimla Ahead of Governor Oath Ceremony

Governor designate of Himachal Pradesh Kavinder Gupta of Jammu along with his wife Bindu Gupta arrived at Lok Bhawan Shimla on Monday evening. The Chief Justice will administer the oath of office to him as the 30th Governor of the state on Tuesday morning. Gupta will formally assume the office of the Governor of Himachal. On his arrival in Shimla on Monday, he will be received by several cabinet ministers, including Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. In a media interaction, Kavinder Gupta said that he will work with all sections for the development and welfare of Himachal Pradesh. Collective efforts are necessary for the progress of the state and he will fulfill his responsibility with this spirit. He said that within seven months he will get this big responsibility. The post of Governor is a big responsibility and challenge for him, which he will try to fulfill with full dedication and dedication.
