The former Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor will once again present himself before the court. He will argue before Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma in the case related to the alleged liquor scam in the Delhi High Court. Interestingly, his demand is that Justice Sharma should recuse himself from the case. Kejriwal had filed the petition after the high court chief justice rejected the demand. The Delhi High Court will hear on Monday the plea of former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has been discharged in the excise policy case, among others, requesting that Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma be recused from hearing the CBI's plea against the subordinate court's verdict. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader will argue his petition, which will be heard at 2: 30 pm. The judge had taken on record the AAP chief's application to recuse himself from the case on April 6 and listed it for hearing on April 13. Justice Manish Kejriwal, who was discharged in the excise policy case, claims that there is a genuine apprehension before him that the matter will not be heard and that there is a fair trial.
