Keshod Election Results Declared: Woman Candidate Wins Presidency

(By Sanjay Dewani) Keshod Dt. 4: The results of the election process for 36 seats of Keshod municipality with geographical demarcation of nine wards, 18 seats of Keshod taluka panchayat representing 53 villages and four seats of district panchayat belonging to Keshod constituency were declared on Tuesday. Notably, this year, the election for the post of president in the local municipality for the next two and a half years has been reserved for a woman candidate of the Bakshi panchayat category in the first term. There was an election atmosphere in the area for about a month due to the elections to the 3 main bodies of local self-government in Keshod municipality, taluka panchayat and district panchayat. The atmosphere is calm after the election results. The defeated candidates and workers are busy with their routine work. On the other hand, the BJP is celebrating the victory of the victory while the Congress and the AAP are contemplating the election results.
