Left Front Holds Road Show in Support of CPI (M) Candidate, Criticizes Binary Politics

On Friday evening, a massive road show was held from Haltu to Santoshpur in support of Left-nominated CPI (M) candidate from Jadavpur assembly constituency Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya. Left Front chairman Biman Bose was present along with other leaders including the candidate. Addressing reporters there, Biman Bose said, "There is no time to roam in space in the fight to save Bengal in the West Bengal assembly elections this time. So, the Left will not roam in space." Asked about his opinion on binary politics today, he said, "It is not possible to say that binary politics is over yet. The Trinamool and the BJP tactfully create this binary. However, this binary game is now catching up with the common people. We are going door-to-door against it. People are being told that the TMC has given birth to the BJP. They are also the progenitors of the BJP. Both of them are the progenitors, so the overall situation in the country's politics is such that even after saying development allowance to many unemployed people in the state, the BJP has declared the names of more than 1 crore people as unemployed.
