On this occasion, Chirag Paswan said that his party will make organizational preparations for all 403 assembly seats in the state with an eye on the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. However, the final decision on whether to contest the elections will be taken by the central parliamentary board after a review of the organization and the proposal of the state unit. Chirag Paswan said that Uttar Pradesh was very close to his father and party founder Ram Vilas Paswan's heart. He said that Ram Vilas Paswan's thinking was to develop politics rising above casteism and communalism.
