IVE, a six-member girl group comprising Gaeul, An Yu Jin, Rei, Jang Won Young, Liz, and Leeseo, is considered one of the bestK-popgirl groups. Given their widespread popularity, fans often send their favourite idols some gifts in the form of bouquets, soft toys, or handwritten letters. However, IVE’s agency, STARSHIP Entertainment, has now announced that the girl group will not be accepting fan gifts, except letters. On December 15, the agency released an official statement thanking fans for their continued support for IVE before explaining their new policy regarding fan gifts. “Hello. We would like to sincerely thank the fans who are rooting for IVE. We are making an announcement regarding fan letters, gifts, and [material] support for IVE. From now on, it has been decided that [IVE] will not be accepting any gifts or [material] support aside from fan letters," they stated, as quoted by Soompi. IVE’s Agency Asked Fans To Send Gifts To People In Need According to the agency, the decision was made to allow fans to redirect their generosity to areas where it may be needed more. STARSHIP Entertainment added, “This decision was made in the hopes that the gifts you send will instead go to places where they are needed more by the fans, so we ask for your generous understanding and cooperation." They concluded their statement, sharing that if any fan of the group is preparing or planning for such gifts, they will not be accepted by IVE. “If there is any [material] support that you are currently preparing or have planned, we must respectfully decline, and we will gratefully accept only our feelings [of support]," explained the agency. Notably, they did not disclose the exact reason for declining fan-made gifts. What’s IVE Up To These Days? The six-member girl group is currently on their Show What I Am world tour. It began on October 31 in Seoul, South Korea. Following three shows in their homeland, IVE is expected to embark on the Asia leg of the tour. They are scheduled to resume the tour in April 2026 in Kuala Lumpur. After shows in Japan, the Philippines, and Singapore, the girl group will conclude their tour in Macau in May 2026.
