Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has indicated that the UCC may be implemented in Madhya Pradesh in July. The government may pass the UCC bill during the 5-day monsoon session from July 20 to 24. Mohan Yadav said that fortunately during the assembly session, they are moving towards a common civil code, if Mahakal wants, it will be passed in this session. Speaking to reporters after an event organized on the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Kailash Nath Katju, CM Mohan Yadav said that the government is coming up with many urgent and important topics in the monsoon session, including UCC. The monsoon session of the Madhya Pradesh assembly will run from July 20 to July 24. This session will be of 5 days, in addition to the UCC bill, the first supplementary budget of the year 2026-27 will also be presented.
